4th and 5th at Zolder Testing went well with the Experienced British driver going p3, adapting quickly to the Mosler MT900, after over 2 years had passed since he had driven the car. That form carried through to qualifying again posting the 3rd fastest time at the end of the hard fought session.

As the number 154 Mosler lined up for race one it was Ben who started. After a good stint with very close racing The Escuela Española de Pilotos run car had made it up to first just in time for the driver changes. Spanish driver Alberto De Martin jumped in and after a good consistent laptimes brought the car home in a superb 4th.

Race 2 followed much the same pattern as the first, again with the Northampton based driver in the lead, eventually dropping to 2nd by the pit stops. Another quick stint from Alberto saw the duo finish in 5th and take valuable championship points.

Ben was satisfied afterwards “That was a good weekend. Obviously it would have been nice to finish on the podium, but it’s a tough championship and that was good points to start the season with. Alberto drove really well and it was nice to fight for the lead in both races. It was a lot of fun and it would be great to do some more of them.”
