Another win, this time in Aston Martin GT4 Challenge With testing limited to a Friday track day with heavy traffic, it was difficult to know exactly how the duo would fare going into the 30 minute qualifying session on Saturday.

Qualifying was left up to Kevin, as the team decided the best tactics were for him to start the race. After a good session improving throughout, the number 27 Aston Martin eventually ended up 7th, just being pipped for 6th on the last lap.

A good solid initial stint from Kevin kept Ben well in contention as he left the pits halfway through race 1 in 8th. Fastest lap after fastest lap saw the young Brit make his way through the field and up to the lead with just 4 to go. A position he would hold to the flag and give the duo the best possible start to their driving partnership.

Race 2 again saw Kevin start, and bring the Aston into the pits well in contention at the mid-point of the season closer. Unfortunately, a longer pitstop time due to their race 1 victory combined with a drive through penalty for too short a pitstop, saw the pair finish a solid 5th, again with fastest race lap.

Ben was very pleased afterwards: ďRace 1 was fantastic. Iíve not raced with Kevin before, Iíve not raced an Aston Martin before and I havenít raced in Britain for several years, so to come away with a victory was brilliant. The car was superb, the pitstops were perfect and the drivers didnít do too badly either! What a great feeling. Race 2 was slightly disappointing as we possibly could have had a podium, but still overall Iím very happy with the weekend. Iíve got to say a massive thank you to Kevin and Track Club for a fun weekend.Ē
